Coney Island Beach Opening

Illustrations done to countdown to the 2021 Coney Island Beach Opening for the Alliance for Coney Island. This campaign following and arguably during the COVID-19 pandemic was mindful of New Yorkers flocking to outdoor activities after long isolation. Iconic beach imagery specific to Coney Island was used, paying homage to Nathan's hotdogs, the annual sand sculpture contest, and vintage bathing suit styles harkening back to Coney Island's golden age.
